Wendy began writing poetry after the birth of her first child Asia in 1995. Before long she had written an entire collection of poems with a variety of themes. At that time, she was introduced to scrapbooking and loved it! Once Upon A Scribble™ debuted in May 2000 (shortly after the birth of her second child, Paris) at the Memory Trends trade show held in Las Vegas with the release of her all-original poetry stickers - an industry first.
Wendy has been featured on local and national TV shows such as DIY scrapbooking. She also hosted Crafting Concept. A Utah based television show for scrapbookers and crafters.
Wendy is the mother of three amazing girls and has a Masters degree in Business Management.
Aside from running Once Upon A Scribble, she is a Center Manager for an amazing fortune 100 company, and does small business consulting.
