Wendy Silva began writing poetry after the birth of her first child Asia in 1995. Before long she had written an entire collection of poems with a variety of themes. At that time, she was introduced to scrapbooking and loved it! Once Upon A Scribble™ debuted in May 2000 (shortly after the birth of her second child, Paris) at the Memory Trends trade show held in Las Vegas with the release of her all-original poetry stickers - an industry first.
Wendy and her husband (the love of her life) just celebrated their 19-year wedding anniversary. Wendy is the mother of three amazing girls and has recently obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business Management and will complete her MBA in November 2008.
She is a true entrepreneur and loves to stay busy and involved in various projects. But family always comes first. She works from her home office and craft studio which allows for more flexibility in her day and ample opportunities to interact with her children.

Writing and managing Once Upon A Scribble with a separate division (Capture wrap) that includes unique marketing and personalized gifts for businesses and consumers (many containing her poems) and creating one-of-a-kind canvas art pieces.
Show host and in charge of new show content for Crafting Concepts a KCSG Television production, which airs twice weekly and conveniently taped from her home craft studio.s18.photobucket.com/albums/b117/chizzum_h/KCSG/
Her hobbies and interests include crafting, reading, product design, public speaking, writing, marketing, photography, business, graphic design, shopping, the outdoors, and of course spending time with her family.
Her future goals include book publishing and completing a line of Christian based poems/gifts.
