Wendy began writing poetry after the birth of her first child Asia in 1995. Before long she had written an entire collection of poems with a variety of themes. At that time, she was introduced to scrapbooking and loved it! Once Upon A Scribble™ debuted in May 2000 (shortly after the birth of her second child, Paris) at the Memory Trends trade show held in Las Vegas with the release of her all-original poetry stickers - an industry first.

Wendy has been featured on local and national TV shows such as DIY scrapbooking and held the position of show host for Crafting Concepts, A Utah based television show for scrapbookers and crafters.

Wendy is the mother of three amazing girls and has a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Masters degree in Business Management.

She holds many business roles outside Once Upoon A Scribble, and enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, reading, public speaking, writing, marketing, photography, business, graphic design, shopping, and the outdoors.
