Wendy Silva began writing poetry after the birth of her first child Asia in 1995. Before long she had written an entire collection of poems with a variety of themes. At that time, she was introduced to scrapbooking and loved it! Once Upon A Scribble™ debuted in May 2000 (shortly after the birth of her second child, Paris) at the Memory Trends trade show held in Las Vegas with the release of her all-original poetry stickers - an industry first.

Wendy and her husband just celebrated their 21-year wedding anniversary. Wendy is the mother of three amazing girls and has a Masters degree in Business Management.

Aside from running Once Upon A Scribble, she is a Center Manager for an amazing fortune 100 company, and does small business consulting.

Her hobbies and interests include crafting, reading, public speaking, writing, marketing, photography, business, graphic design, shopping, the outdoors, and of course spending time with her family. Her future goals include writing a book and growing her business consulting practice.
